the marathon of fashion shoots begins

I'm going to working with 8 of the top fashion graduates from Ravensbourne College of Design to produce some powerful portfolio images which represent each collection.

First up is Danielle Ingemann's womens Knitwear collection. Its young, fresh, and extremely colourful and thats exactly the direction I want to take the shoot. She has a lot of fluorescent colours, greens, oranges and yellows and I want to enhance them with the use of coloured lighting and smoke effects. Nothing like starting off with an easy one...

Using smoke and continuous lighting can be extremely unpredictable and therefore time consuming so it really important to do at least a couple of test shoots which is what we have done. All thats left to now is to confirm the model, make-up, hair stylist, assistants, studio space, health and safety, the smoke machine, hiring in continuos lighting...it'll all be worth it...
